It's no secret that small businesses have had it rough for a while now, and they can never seem to catch a break. I honestly hoped this day would never come, and I never thought I would be writing this post. I truly hoped to experience building an in-person location before the thought of closing the doors ever became a thought in my mind, and it's been an emotional rollercoaster to say the least.

Over the past few months, I've had to closely monitor how the business has been doing in general and how much potential is left to help it get out of the red. The sad part is that in April, things were finally getting back to normal again, and then our sales tanked when the union announced a new strike/overtime ban. Even though we've been committed to using alternative couriers and done many at an additional cost, it doesn't seem to be helping. While I'm sure this isn't the only reason why sales have been so low, the economy is terrible at the moment, there's no telling when things will get better.

I am so blessed to have had so many who have supported Crafty Stars Studio over the years, and I will always be incredibly grateful for every single order. I'm so sorry to have to announce this but staying open is no longer an option.

I have one last Bobbiny restock on the way with three new colors releasing on June 30th, and then that will be it for us. Please refer to the important dates below.

*With Canada Post still in limbo, we have discontinued selling to US customers. For customers with PO boxes, please be aware that as a deal still hasn't been reached with one of the unions. There is still the potential for a strike and delayed/lost packages. Unless a strike is confirmed not to happen again, ordering to a PO box is not possible right now.
